His father gave the land for the church cemetary. The church is located in the Nocohmixion area of Bucks Co., Pa. He died on 14 May 1819 in Hawkins Co., Tennessee. Christian Pearson did patriotic service in Pennsylvania during the revolutionary war. He is
listed the DAR records as having died 14 May 1819 in Hawkins County, Tennessee. Christian is buried in Hawkins County, we do not know where exactly. He was buried on 16 May 1819 in Hawkins County, Tennessee. We have located three different Pearson cemetaries in Hawkins county. The Pearson Family Cementary in district 3, Lees Valley community is located on Hwy 66 North of Rogersville past the Richardson Creek Baptist Church. On the Clay Cope farm. They were members of this church at one time. Christian Pearson was born in Bucks County, Pa. in 1755. The Son of Laurence and Elizabeth. His Great-great grandfather came to America in 1683 with a son Laurence from Cheshire, England. Christian was a soldier in the Revolutionary War and served in a Pennysvania Unit. Christian moved with his family to Hawkins County, Tn. around 1890 and purchased property in the Lee Valley community just north of Rogersville. His grave site is not known but some believe , as I do, that he and his wife were buried in the same family cemetary behind the home of his son Lawrence in the Lee Valley community! There is no marker but there is evidence of graves unmarked in the plot! Laurence and his wife's grave are clearly marked with a nice stone! Two graves are marked and there are at least three that are not!
