I am researching the Pecille Family: My great grandfather's name was Pasquale and he married a lady named Gaitana Pulusco somewhere in Italy. My Grandparents came from Italy. My Grandfather's Name was Pasquale (Frank) Pecille born in 1886, arrived in New York in 1892, and died Oct.14, 1935. My grandmother (Rose Varasano) was born in Italy in 1887 and her parents names were Vincent or (Vincente) Varasano and Carmela Toshano. They immigrated to U.S. sometime between 1890 and 1910. They lived in Brooklyn, NY at 1417 44th Street. I have not been able to locate ship records as of yet. My mothers maiden name was Julia Sacco and she was born July 5, 1915, I think in New York but I am not sure. She passed away on Oct. 1, 1991 in Ashokan, New York. My Father was Dominic Thomas Pecille born Feb. 1, 1914 and died June 23, 1961. This information was gathered over the past year. I was raised in the care of the Angel Guardian Home (Orphanage) in Brooklyn, New York from 1941 until I left New York in 1956.
