Elizabeth was found in a 1910 census and lists herself as head of household then. James didn't die until 1925. At this time, she was living at 6550? Broadway, dwelling #1, Cleveland Township, Ward 1.
In the 1920 census, Elizabeth Davis McVeigh was living at 9101 Harvard Ave., in Cleveland City, Cuyahoga county. It was apparently a boarding house and she lists herself as the head of household and as the keeper of the boarding house. She also has family living with her. She lists herself as married, so I'm not sure where James is at this point?
1930 census has Elizabeth living at E. 93rd St. in Cleveland. She is still a Landlady in a boarding house. According to her son Edward's marriage license, her name is Lizzy.
