I began my research, fiveyears ago, in order to locate my Dad's grandfather who, at this time, was nameless. We were really "clueless" as to WHO he was? WHAT he had done for a living or WHERE he had lived? He was a secret that took two years to finally be told..... After many conversations with family members, distant and not so distant cousins, here are the names, dates, people and places that comprise the families of my research. In March of 2009 I subscribed to Genealogy.com who has copies of the Columbus Enquirer a local newspaper where my RODGERS family lived from 1830 until 1920. All of the missing pieces were found in the numerous articles and obits found on this site. I have documentation that was lacking until then.
