The Griffiths Family Home Page - Thomas Bowen Griffiths

I am researching the family of Thomas Bowen Griffiths who was born in Talywain Wales in 1826, who married Mary Daniel b. Trevethan 1828. They were married in Talywain 1853 and sailed from Liverpool on board The Miles Barton, arriving in Melbourne Australia in September 1857.

On their marriage certificate, Thomas lists his father as John Griffiths but I have not been able to identify where this John Griffiths and wife lived.

Their 3 year old daughter, Sophia born 12 Nov 1853, died on 5 June 1857 - 12 days prior to their ship sailed. Their son John born 19 Aug 1856 accompanied Thomas Bowen and Mary on the ship to Australia.
