Notes for Mary Daniel: Accompanied by young son John on voyage to Australia. Sophia, her 3 year old daughter had died 12 days prior to sailing.
Family anecdote: The ship's Captain rebuked the women who wined abiut conditions on board the ship, telling them to be like the little Welsh women - Mary who cared for her baby without making complaints.
