Walter Hancock (son of ? Hancock and Unknown) died 1883 in Ballarat Vic.

Notes for Walter Hancock:
Walter, brother of Eliza Smith-Livock (nee Hancock) had come out from England with his mother and they settled in Ballarat. Walter carried on a business as blacksmith and veterinary surgeon in Ballarat until his death in 1883.

Walter's estate was said to be extensive, owning 7 houses, but was swallowed uo by Trustee Executors Agency Company, supposedly in expenses and mortgages. None of the Livocks nor Smiths benefited from his land ownership.
