English:-----The text on the back of the prisoner of war photo, written in Gothic handwriting by Niels Pedersen.-----I read in the East Zealand newspaper a request from the gentleman, the author and the publisher, of that publication about our last action for South Jutland. The pictures represent a hospital at Flensburg in 1864, as you can see, Danishes and Germens are mixed together. The place is called Harmonien, and it is in the garden the photo is taken. If you can use the photo, then it’s at Your disposal. Ads. Blacksmith Niels Pedersen, Bjelkerup pr Storehedinge. Ads. is the man under the tree, with a pipe in his hand, standing and watching the Checkers players. -----Danish: Jeg Læste I Østsælansk Avis en opfordring fra De Herrer Forfatere og Forlægeren af Det Værk om vor Sidste Kamp for Sønderjylland. Stykket forestiller et Laseret i Flensborg 1864, som de seer er Dansker og Tysker blandet sammen. Stædet Kaldes Harmonien og det er dets Have at Stykket er Taget af. Kan Dig bruge det da er det til Deres Afbenyttelse. Ads. Smed Niels Pedersen, Bjelkerup pr. Storehedinge. Ads. er den der under Træet med Piben i Haanden staar og seer paa dem der spiller Dam.
