My research has turned up a few surprises (which I am verifing), for example: A couple of Mayflower passengers are ancestors, such as Thomas Rogers (11th Great-grandfather), The Elder-William Brewster (11th Great-grandfather).

There's also the likelyhood that my 2nd Great-grandfather, Thomas McCauley, fought against some of my Wifes ancestors (from Louisiana) while serving with the Wisconsin 4th Infantry.

Some of the surnames within my Family: Bangs, Brewster, Buttrick, Chamberlain, Chandler, Davis, Freeman, Higgins, Hopkins, Mayo, McCauley, Paine, Prence, Rogers, Snow, and Treat.

I've a lot of research ahead...at which point I will post my findings for all.
