Looking for ancestors of Danile Maness born in 1816 in North Carolina. He married Sallie ????. Danile was a Shoe maker.He made shoes in the silver war.They said he would go from one camp to another making shoes.He also made shoes before he went to war and after he got out.He would go from house to house ,sometimes staying a week at a time making shoes.
