Campbell - Bernstein Tree

Welcome to my family tree.

I am currently Researching the Harry Bernstein family. Harry was born 1881 in Russia. Harry and his family came to the United States around 1892. Harry was 11. Along with Harry, his parents brought his 7 brothers and 1 sister.

Harry married first Emma Esther "Dorothy" Capstick who was born 02 Sep 1884 in London, England. She came to the US, along with her sister Margaret Capstick McDavitt, in 1911. The Bernstein family moved to Pennsylvania where the kids went to work. Harry worked in the manufacturing business in Ohio as a young man. In 1907, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he owned several businesses. He later moved to Mineral Wells, Texas where he owned Harry's Pawn Shop.

I am also researching the elusive Smith family from Ohio and West Virginia. Jeremiah Smith was born in Ohio around 1850 and married Mary Jane Ward. She was born around 1854. They had the following children: Cora M, James D, William A, Virginia B, John Ambrose (my great-grandfather), Thomas Charlie, George, Robert H, Sarah A, Amanda J, and Lottie E.
