COMBINED PEETE FAMILY HOME PAGE

Updated March 24, 2012

It has been indeed my great pleasure of meeting the fabulous, good-hearted, and lovable Peetes. I have met them in person or by phone, and they have contributed so much to the various Peete Family Trees. My knowledge of the Peetes was limited to my father, John Peete, his naming and counting 13 siblings, and around 20 other relatives I have personally met over the years.

It has been truly a concerted effort, working with each of you while composing a trail that so many Peetes have blazed. I thank Carolyn Clay, Deborah Carter, Earline Sanders, Irene Peete, Madie Robinson, Janice Miller, Terry Peete, Elnora Lewis, Bobbie Bryant, and Roy M. Burrow for their knowledge and directions; they have truly helped me to get off to a great start of compiling around 626 plus members of the George Washington Peete family.

I also thank Elaine Peete, Barbara Wallace, Robert Peete, and Richard L. Peete. I give a special thanks to Mickye Strivers who has always shown enthusiam; she and Richard made an exceptional contribution of the Sylvestre Pitre family tree. Mickye discovered information about Sylvestre; his brothers, Orange and Zachariah; and facilitated the combining of their branch of Peetes with another branch. I have personally met some of the ones whom are a part of the Sylvestre Pitre Family tree.
