| My Irish families: The Ferriter family is from Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland and my Shea family is thought to be from Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. I have been actively researching my Irish family roots for about 5 or 6 years now. I am intersted in the Ferriter and Shea lines and particularly, in the lines of the amazing women who married into these families. I love following the female lines--they seem to be neglected in many genealogies and I am trying to rectify that in mine. Any information that you might have, that could augment mine would be appreciated. |
