He was a lso a semi truck driver for JI Case Co. in Racine until he retired in 1988. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with his grandchildren.

Pallbearers for Richard's funeral were: Lukas Premo, Casey Premo, Jim Premo, Peter Martin, Curt Walstad and Walt Manning.
