I am the descendent of James Henry Wirt of Pulaski County and married into the Peirano family of New Jersey/Lyon, France and Italy. Little is known of the Peirano branch and since I am only married into this family, I have very little information. I do know that my husband's mother was a Maio/Mayo and his father was John Henry Peirano. I would appreciate any information anyone has on either of these two families. I will gladly share information. My brother-in-law Anthony Peirano, went to Italy several years ago and met with a portion of the Peirano family which he believes may be related.
