40. JOSEPH PIERRE5 ROBICHAUD (JEAN (CADET)4, CHARLES "CADET"3, ETIENNE2, LOUIS1) was born 1732 in Copbequid, Acadia, and died August 23, 1783 in St. Nicolas in Nantes, France. He married (1) ANNE MARIE BLANCHARD 1758. She was born 1736, and died May 26, 1759 in St. Nicolas in Nantes, France. He married (2) ANA HEBERT November 17, 1761 in St. Suliac, Ille et Vilaine, France, daughter of JEAN HEBERT and MARIE DOIRON. She was born 1739 in Grande Pre, Acadia.

NA HEBERT:
The Le Saint Remi, a 400 ton ship led by Captain Baudin, left France on Thursday, June 27, 1785. After 75 days at sea, they arrived on September 10, 1785. There were 325 people on board, along with 16 stowaways for a total of 341.families On the way, there were 15 deaths from scurvy and smallpox.
While in New Orleans, the group further increased by 19 (including 8 births) and decreased by 16 deaths. When it came time to settle down: 2 families settled near Galveztown, 2 families went to the Attakapas, and 85 families chose to settled along Bayou Lafourche.

This Family was on the list of Acadians named to embark on the ship, St. Remi, captain Mr. Baudin, going to Louisiana. Apparently, Pierre had died while in France two years earlier than when they came to Louisiana (1785). On the list was Anne Hebert, and four children. Joseph-12, Jean Pierre-2, Marie-17 and Anne-15
