We are searching for factual information on the biological parentage of Robert (1) Pemberton (born 1788 He was christened 5th of May 1788 (St. Pancras Foundling Hospital) - I have seen this record. (One family record had Robert born in 1783).

Robert was adopted by Edward Southbrook and Georgina Charlotte Augusta Denoyer born September 21 1763 - died February 11 1835 - aged 72 years - Sponsers: Their Majesty's and Royal Highness The Princess of Wales.

Robert was adopted by Georgina in 1801.

Hannah Fillery who went into the Southbrook's family when she was 15 years of age and remained with the family till her death at 96 years, claimed to have known about Robert's parentage but would never tell.

Robert Pemberton died May 18, 1879 at Prospect Road, St. Albans in the County of Hertford, England, aged 90 years. His Wife, Elizabeth died February 14, 1889, aged 82 years. These dates etc. come from Death Certificates.

Robert Markham b. 1825 - d. February 3, 1876 (not married) .
Charlotte Delia b. 1827 - d. 1893 (married Maurice Holtum) .
Charles ffrench b. 1835 - d. 1905 (married Eleanor Anne Buss).
Frederick - d. young.
Elizabeth Mary (Bessie) b. 1841 - 6. ? (not married).
