Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

WELCOME!

I hope you find this site useful in your search for ancestors.

The descendancy reports provided below are those of
- my maternal great great grandfather James A. Ramer. The parents of James Ramer have not been established but it appears likely he was born in Davidson Co., TN.
- Six generations of the descendants of Joseph Talley (bef. 1731 - bef 1782) of Mecklenburg Co. VA. Much of this early family history was kindly provided by Doris Talley Adams.
- Four generations of the descendants of Thomas Carr (1804-1876)of Grayson Co., VA. I am grateful especially to Edna Ruth Carr Edmondson for sharing her family research.
- Three generations of F.W. (Frank?) Gross (abt. 1836 - aft 1880), my great great grandfather born apparently in Ohio. It is this family line that has been the most difficult to trace.

For those who wish to exchange information on the descendants of Philip Pendleton (1654-1721), I still maintain that information and would be pleased to correspond.

Other family names I maintain an interest in include: GOLIGHTLY (IL>KY), GOAD, HOLLOWELL, MCCLAIN, QUISENBERRY, CURTIS, RICE, THACKER, and TINSLEY. These family lines and others may be featured in future postings.
