To know my family, all of my family, has been a driving force in my life since I was a small child. Growing up, I always knew that I had a whole other famly out there in the world. Recently, I have found part of them.

The family I knew growing up, was WONDERFUL. I was blessed with a Dad, my step-father, who always treated me as his own. As a matter of fact, when my brother and sister found out that my last name was different than theirs, they would say, "He's our dad, not yours." My reply, " He chose me to be his kid, just like he chose Mom, to be his wife. He got stuck with you when you were born."

Family is so important. Having grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles, and cousins galore, adds a certain amount of fulfillment to a persons life. I have been very fortunate to have a family filled with people who loved me and accepted me for all my unique qualities. As a matter of fact, my family is filled with unique individuals, thus the name, "The Fruits and Nuts of My Family Tree." I hope to fill these pages with their stories.
