* The Penzek Family Home Page*

Updated April 16, 2002

I am researching the Penzek family from Germany. Wilhelm was born in Feb. 1906 in Steubenville, OH. I don't know when his parents came to the United States. They moved back to Germany, but I don't know when. He found his bride Michaline Marcowka, born 11/4/1904. They were married in Poland and had 3 children, 2 boys: Johann and Richard, and 1 daughter. They lived in Zielone, Germany (now Poland or OstPruessen) before the war. I know Michaline's father's name was Adam and he had 3 other daughters. I'm trying to find out about the Marzowka family as well as Wilhelms parents. Wilhelm has 2 sisters: Matilda who lived in Detroit, Michigan and the other sister was Cezlawa.

In addition, I'm researching the Asmus family from Bernsee Kreise Arnswalde in Germany. He was married to a Catholic bride named Anna Schneider. The Asmus family is Lutheran. They had one daughter: Meta and five sons: Werner, Bruno, Walter, Karl and Otto. Mr. Asmus moved from the OstSee to marry Anna.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
