Andrew Jackson McCan (son of John McCan and Nancy Ann Maycock) was born August 24, 1832 in Hickman County, Tennessee, and died date unknown. He married (1) Mary Pickard on 1854. He married (2) Sarah Elizabath Greenawalt on 1867, daughter of Jacob Greenawalt and Mary Bradley.

Notes for Andrew Jackson McCan:
Andrew Jackson McCan married in 1854, Mary Pickard, who died in 1863 while Andrew was serving with the Confederate Army. His command was Company C., Colonel Tom Freeman's Regiment, with the battle of Batesville, the chief engagement in which he took part. At the death of his wife, he was furloughed home to look after his household. Andrew and Mary had the following children:
