It is Saturday 27th December 2003 and I have not touched this site for a long time or even played with the information but now that i have resigned from our baseball board i will have time to attack it again.
In the past I made one error which has possibly sent me up the wrong path. The Penhale/Penhall family of John Johns Penhale and his wife Elizabeth LATHLEAN arrived 1849 on the three mast ship the "WILLIAM MONEY" from St Austel, Cornwall. and settled in Yelta, Moonta. South Australia [SA]. I will re check this and go again. I have a copy of a diary from a passenger on this ship which makes very chilling reading at first. Why, because it looks like John and Elizabeth lost a baby girl during the voyage.
It looks like the family name switched over to Penhall a couple of generations ago and I will try and find out why.

- 45 and still blonde and beautiful (11 KB)
The photo was taken about 1995 at age 45 after having a couple of drinks at a family Barby.
- My wife Paula at her 40th in 1998 (19 KB)
Paula strikes back when people say she is italian saying no I am Australian with Italian and Russian
parents.
- Gordon Penhall July 2002 (22 KB)
As you can see I have not done anything with my family history for a while, doing committee work for baseball in South Australia and being on my daughters school board is time consuming. next i am trying to set up a baseball museum at our new ballpark.
- Krystle Penhall (60 KB)
My daughter giving me the evil look at trying to get a photo of her at Christmas 2001
- My brothers and sister. (56 KB)
Christmas 2001, we all had tea at my brother Waynes place. From the left Wayne, Pamela, Gordon and Robert the oldest. This was the first time in a few years he has been with us at Christmas. All families have problems.
- My mother Doris [nee FRY] Penhall in her mid 20's (48 KB)
My mother past away at age 42 from a heart attack and did not see any of her children grow up and get married. She missed out on a lot of things but still had a happy life.

- In memory of my father Jack Penhall (3 KB)
Jack passed away 9th July 1994 age 75 years. You always think what if, and i am the same. I should have talked to him more when he was with us, instead I kept on putting this family tree idea off.
