Note with photo - by Susan Diane Roach Jane is the woman who took your Mom and her sister Betty to Toronto in the first place to find work. I don't think there is a blood relationship there but she was a true friend who cared. Also at one point in Janes life, I think she was a girlfriend of Uncle John and they were engaged and had plans to get married when he would get back from overseas from the war but it all ended when Uncle John got back because I think Jane had found herself another man friend while Uncle John was oveseas and that broke Uncle John's heart and it is why he remained a bachelor after that...he lost trust in women when Jane cheated on him. I know that Uncle John was sending Jane money from overseas in preparation for their wedding. But then again the War was a very long period of time. It destroyed many peoples lives in many ways.
