I am researching my family tree from Stoke-on-Trent, England. I have been searching through census's gallore, like everyone who has ever done a Family Tree. I soon got hooked.....

I have traced back through the years finding the names, Dunn, Cliffe, Adlington, Forrester, Pickstock, Steele, Dawson, Adams, Mountford, Wilkinson, Swift, Owen, Owens, Bailey, Harper just to name but a few.

In Stoke-on-Trent over the years there was lots of work, be it in the Pits, Pottery or Steelworks. Whole families would move home to where the work was.
