| This site is serving as the central location for information about the Peppers from Pennsylvania. A comprehensive history has been written about the family beginning in 1751 when Heinrich Pfeffer (Henry Pepper) emigrated from Germany. Henry Pepper's son, Henry Jr. had nine children including George Pepper. This family history primarily traces decendents from George Pepper, born March, 1779, died January, 1846 and his wife, Mary Catherine Seckel Pepper, born June 1780, died June 1861. The existing family history concluded in 1947, the time of the last Pepper family reunion in Philadelphia. We are now in the process of updating the history from 1947. |
