1. CLARK⁵ KELSO (ROBERT⁴, ROBERT³, DANIEL², ALEXANDER¹) was born Sep 09, 1834 in Florence, IN, and died Apr 28, 1916 in Rib Lake, WI. He married (1) MARY JANE WALL Jul 04, 1867 in Washington, IL. He married (2) LETITIA MCCORD Unknown in Duquoin, IL, daughter of DAVID A. MCCORD.

Notes for CLARK KELSO:
       Clark Kelso, son of Robert and Rebecca was born September 9, 1834 in Florence, Indiana. He moved to Waahington, Illinois when he was eight years old with his parents. He married Letita McCord on July 1 or 12, 1861 in Duqoin, Illinois. After Letita died Clark married Mary Jane Wall on July 4, 1867 in Washington, Illinois. In 1890 they moved to Wisconsin then to California because of Clark's health. Clark and Mary Jane then traveled back to Wisconsin to live with their daugther, Emily Ann and her husband, J. Sigurd Stone. Clark served under the Union cause in the Civil War in the secret service un er the command of governor Yate of Illimois. He listed his occupations as farmter, carpenter and millwright in the Illinois censuses. Clark died April 19, 1916 in Riblake Wisconsin.

Notes for MARY JANE WALL:
       Mary Jane wall was born March 13, 1848 in Illinois. Her mother traveled from England to the United States in 1845. Mary Jane was also known as Jennie. She married Clark July 4, 1867 in Washington, Illinois. They had nine children, Louis Clark, Fred Burr, Ralph simpson, Ellen, Robert Palmer, Emily Ann, Robert Wilson, Mary Burton and Isabell Margret. Jennie enjoyed reading the poetry of Robert Burns. She kept lots of momentos of her children, including prictures, letters she sent and received from them and also a diary recording her life after her husband, Clark died. Jennie died in San Diego.

Notes for LETITIA MCCORD:
       Letita McCord, the daughter of David McCord, was known as Jennie. Her birth date is unknown. She married Clark Kelso in Duquoin, Illinois. They had three children, Stela Aurora, Lula Latitia, and Lela Jane. Lula and Lela were twins. Letita is believed to have died on April 20, 1865 in Washington, Illinois because of the birth of the twins.
