She married JOHN HUSSEY 12 Sep 1659 in Quaker Meeting, Hampton, New Hampshire, son of CHRISTOPHER HUSSEY and THEODATE BATCHELDER. He was born 28 Feb 1634/35 in Lynn, Essex, Mass, and died 1707 in New Castle, DE.

"John Hussey, late of Hampton, NH, near Piscatoway in New England, by deed of 7/1/1695, purchased 340 acres of land near New Castle, Delaware, and there he died in 1707. His mother-in-law probably accompanied him to the Delaware, as we find that the administration on the estate of Susanna Perkins was granted to John Hussey, principal creditor."

From the Geneological Dictionary of Maine and New Hamphire, pg. 364

"John and Rebecca were Quakers, but had difficulty following the discipline. He held several offices but his declination of oath taking caused much trouble. Was elected rep. in 1692, but refused to take the oath. They were residents of Hampton, New Hamsphire, now Seabrook, but migrated to New Castle, DE after William Penn invited migrants from other colonies with religious tolerance and cheap land. He bought land there in 1695. Was elected rep in 1696 (oath not required in DE). In NJ, was the administrator of his mother-in-law's estate as her principal creditor."

John Hussey and his sons bought a great deal of property in New Castle County, DE. John owned and operated a mill there at the time of his death in 1707. The Hussey family remained very active in the Quaker community. Both John and his son John Jr were preachers. The family gave the property for the first meeting house in New Castle County.

Deed of 1 July 1695 affirms that he purchaced 340 acres of land near New Castle Deleware. He was described at that time as having been of late "Hamp Town (Hampton) NH near Piscaetoway in New England. His will was probated 18 Feb 1707. He had a large family and several of his grandchildren were members of Sadsbury Meeting of Friends in Lancaster co PA in 1737 and of the Warrington Meeting in York co PA in 1745.

"Establishment of the New Castle Meeting has been fixed as 1684. John Hussey, John Richardson, Edward Blake, George Hogg and Benjamin Sivett were members therein. In 1688 a commission was appointed to view a place for a meeting house and grave yard. New Castle meeting house was built in 1705 (New Castle Deed Book, pg.88)."

By deed of 7/1/1695 John purchased 340 acres near New Castle, DE.from Charles Rumsey of Christianna Creek, DE for 200 pounds. The property known as Nonsuch was part of a larger tract of 640 acres. On August 6, 1695, John purchased the remaining 300 acres for 59 pounds.

From Calender of Wills, New Castle County, DE, 1682 - 1800:

His Will was made 5/8/ 1707 and probated 2/18/1707. The administrators were his sons John, Christopher and Jedediah of North Carolina.
Grandchildren, who were also Quakers settled in Lancaster and York Counties of PA.
