5. LORENZO JOSEPH² PERSEGHIN (VIGILIO¹) was born 10 Aug 1893 in Trecenta, Revigo, Italy, and died 21 Mar 1962 in Dundalk, Baltimore, MD. He married GULLIA BONINCONTRI in Burgaw, North Carolina. She was born 1898 in Switzerland.

Notes for LORENZO JOSEPH PERSEGHIN:
Gaetano and Dominic were the first to migrate to America settling in Burgaw, N.C. (See notes on Napoleon for account off those years).
After several years, Napoleon and Adele migrated, followed several years later by Virgilio, Imbania, Lawrence and Jiovanni. As young boys, Lawrence and Johnny were still living with their parents. When Virgilio moved to Dundalk, Md, Lawrence and Johnny came with them. Virgilio got a local shoemaker to teach both his son the trade and afterwards help them both open shoe repair shops.

Lawrence's marriage to Gullia was stormy one. After their first divorce, he got custody of the children. Lawrence was married several times, twice to Gullia. They were about to try it a third time when he died.

1920 Census list Lawrence Perseghan living in the 12th distrcit of Baltimore County (St. Helena) married to Jullia, and having two sons Alexander (2 years 6 months) and Louis (1 year ,2 months) Lawrence is a shopemaker, who owns his own shop.

6. GIOVANNI² PERSEGHIN (VIGILIO¹) was born 16 Oct 1897 in Trecenta, Revigo, Italy, and died 26 Nov 1938 in Dundalk, Md. He married BERTHA VIRGINIA ADRIANA FLEUREN 1923 in Dundalk, Md, daughter of ADRIAN FLEURIN and OCTAVIA LOURYSEN. She was born 06 Jun 1906 in Forges, Belgium, and died 05 May 1985 in Burgaw, N.C..

Notes for GIOVANNI PERSEGHIN:
Gaetano and Dominic were the first to migrate to America.
Both men were skilled craftsman, having been apprenticed to Austrian and German masters. After several years, Napoleon and Adelel migrated, followed several years later by Virgilio, Imbania, Lawrence and Giovanni.
The youngest son, Johnny lived with his parents first in Burgaw, N.C. and later moved to Dundalk, Md after Dominic had settled there. Johnny grew up in Dundalk where he met and married Bertha Fleuren. Worked as a shoemaker, later as a laborer at Sparrows Point. Contracted tuberculosis which finally took his life.
After his death, Bertha lived in New York and later moved to North Carolina with two of her sons. Married an older, wealthy man whom she cared for until his death.

Mr. Adrian L. Perseghin, 69, died Friday, July 14, 2006, at Cypress Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Wilmington, NC.
Born in Dundalk, Maryland, on October 8, 1936, the son of the late John M. Perseghin and Bertha Fleuren Perseghin Plevier, Mr. Perseghin was a retired Sargeant of the Carolina Beach Police Department.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Adam William Perseghin.

He is survived by brothers, Richard Perseghin and wife Katie of Hudson, Florida, Armin Perseghin and wife Diane of Keyport, New Jersey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family is having a private service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society
