Notes for Elgin Eugene Petersen: Obituary: Lamberton News Elgin "Ozzie" Petersen, 58, dies June 14 Elgin "Ozzie" Petersen, 58, of Spicer, died Monday, June 14 at the Tracy Hospital, where he had been a patient since Saturday. He had been a resident of VVM in Lamberton the past several months. Graveside services were conducted Wednesday at three o'clock at Lamberton Cemetery with Pastor Ray Larson of Spicer officiating. Elgin was born April 20, 1924 at Lamberton to Sophie and Christian Petersen. Survivors include his wife, Delores of Wayzata, sons Randolph of Elk Mound, Wisc. and Bryan of Spicer, daughter, Mrs. Allan (Kaye) Olson on Spicer, three grandchildren, Angela and Eric Olson, and Alexander Jordan Petersen, his father, Christian Petersen of Lamberton, brothers, Harold Stanley and Edward H. Petersen of Lamberton, sisters, Mrs. Mike (Helen) Uhlenhopp of Westbrook and Mrs. Robert (Donna) Hage of Hector. Preceding him in death were his mother and three brothers. |

Notes for Harlan Petersen: Obituary: Lamberton News Burns Fatal To Little Harlan Petersen - Rev. Olson Conducts Services Friday Gloom spread over this community Thursday when it became known that Harlan, the little two-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ P. Petersen, had died at 3:15 o'clock that morning. Harlan was the victim of an unfortunate accident at his home the previous Monday. While at play he tumbled into a pail of hot water and about 1/3 of his body was burned. Every loving care and medical attention failed to save him. Harlan was two years and four months of age and youngest in the family. He leaves besides his parents, a sister and three brothers. Pallbearers were: Hans and Arnold Petersen, Marvin Mattson, and Euclair Roth. The News extends sympathy to the bereaved parents. |

Mr. and Mrs. Weedman are at home on a farm near Walnut Grove. . |
