The story of the Petersons of Sweden coming to America involves the families of the Larsons coming from Sweden and the Olesens and the Nelsons coming from Denmark. The Petersons arrived in Trade River, Wisconsin via St. Paul, Minnesota, the Larsons (Johnson) arrived via Charter Oak, Iowa ,Olesens arrived in Luck, Wisconsin via North Dakota and Minnesota, the Nelsons arrived in Luck as well via Minnesota. Much information is available about the Petersons, the Larsons, Nelsons and Olesens, however information on John Frederick Johnson remains missing. I am attempting to further research the Johnson family.
