| Hi, I'm researching my family tree.Jackson, McIntyre, Tokarek, Bonney (also spelt Bonny), Honey, Montgomery, Alderson, Hutcheon (also known as Hutchinson), Ogston, Chatwin, Werezak, Wasik, Yaroz, Kaniewski, Hawrish, Budzenko, Popien (also spelt Popein & Popihn), Barkal, Watson, Jonson, Shilvock, Weemys (also spelt Weems, Weemyss, Wemyss), Birnie, Veach, Watt, Panton, Atkinson, Green and McFadyen are some of our ancestors. Do you think we might be related? Scotland, Ireland, Arabia, England, and the Ukraine are some of the more exotic locations. But they all ended up in central Manitoba, Canada via Ontario, Canada! Some scattered to Western Canada, and some to New York USA and Alabama! My ancestors made their way from various points starting in Europe and after landing in Canada, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Ontario made their way to Manitoba by oxen and part way by train around the early to late 1800's in order that they might farm near Riding Mountain, Manitoba. Farmers mostly, but best of all really nice people. I have 2916 people currently tracked down as ancestors and their siblings or decendents and now I am looking for more. Mostly sisters and brothers of my Grandparents and their parents and so on... So, if you think you might be a descendent of one of them send me an e-mail... I'd love to hear from you... |
