I have been researching the following surnames: Ring, Kolber, Schramm, Shrum, Pfaffenbach, Decker, Eichenlaub, among others. I have information on all of these names. I can go back to 1730 for Ring, 1870 for Kolber, 1895 for Schramm, 1750 for Decker, 1847 for Pfaffenbach. All of these names are German. All of the names except for Pfaffenbach are from the area close to Alsace Lorrain. Pfaffenbach is from Hesse Castle, Germany.
