* The Pfisters*

I am researching the Pfister family. My Grandfather, Charles Pfister said that he was born on the ship as it docked in Newark NJ. His father's name was Philip but his mother's name is not known. He had two sisters, Margie & Anna and the family was from Alsace Lorraine.

Alsace Lorraine was a place caught in the wars between France and Germany, Alsace and Lorraine have changed nationality four times since 1871. It is in the northeast part of France and was the Southwest part of Germany.

Any information would be appreciated.
