I am researching the Sallada/Sallade family. I believe it orginates in France and moved through Switzerland and possibly into Germany. I am specifically interested in the Frenchman Elboine de Sallade who seems to be the Sallade which appears in the 900's in France and also Johann George Salathe, reportedly related, who would have fled France during the persecution of the Huguenots (the mid 1600's). Any information on the Salathe/Salate/Sallada/Salada/Soliday/Salladay's (or any similar last name), would be greatly appreciated Several members of the Salate/Sallada family moved to Bucks and Berks County, PA in the middle 1700's, any information on these individuals would also be appreciated. I do have information on a number of individuals and would be happy to provide information to anyone interested in such. Thanks you for your interest and assistance, I look forward to hearing from you. |
