For over twenty years, I have been researching along with many of my close and distant cousins both: my father's northern roots from Berkshire County, Masaaachusetts, Crawford County, Pennsylvania and my mother's southern roots from Newberry County and Edgefield County and Kershaw County, South Carolina. We have now found many ancestors from many states and colonies and countries including Bavaria and Switzerland and have published several books about our Phelps and Padgett and Boozer and Brooks ancestors. We do not get together very often in person though we are great in number. Our computers have brought many of us together to form MyFamily.com websites so that we can share our many lines with our many cousins. We look forward to hearing from many more cousins: Northern, Western and Southern cousins. Paternal Surnames: Phelps, Laudeman, Boyle, Kean/Cain, Beckett, Cook of Pennsylvania and Delaware; Durham and Cott of Delaware; Foust of Pennsylvania; Seibert; Heckmann; Sieber; Stein, Roschy of Bavaria. Maternal surnames: Padgett of Edgefield County, South Carolina, Boozer and Brooks and Perkins of Newberry County, S.C., Moore and McCullough of Newberry Co., S.C, Gallman and Senn of Saxe Gotha, S.C. and Switzerland; Jones of Saluda County, South Carolina; Perkins, Brooks, Merchant, Eidson, Watson, Warren, Blitchenden, Tyner, Norcom.

- Descendants of William Phelps (1590Eng-1672 CT.) (191 KB)
This paternal Phelps line attempts to encompass most known descendants of William's son, Timothy Phelps which I have gathered over the last twenty years. This huge effort was aided by many Phelps cousins from around our country and membership of the Phelps Family Association of America which I co-founded with Nancy J. Pennington in 1987. Thanks so very much for everything!
