_______________

Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock at the home of Mrs. George Reeser, mother of the brides, southwest of Farmer City, took place the marriage Jesse Edward McMurphy to Miss Ruby Belle Reeser and Wayne Elmer Larison to Miss Winnie Delle Reeser. Rev. Thos. H. Tull performed the ceremony in the presence of about forty guests, immediate relatives and intimate friends of the contracting couples. As the couples took their places before the minister, the wedding march was played by Mrs. Carl Reeser. A three-course repast, served by a Monticello catorees, followed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. McMurphy and Mr. and Mrs. Larison are now in Indianapolis on a short wedding trip. They are expected home on Monday.
Both of these grooms are quite well known and held in high esteem in this city and community. Mr. McMurphy, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles McMurphy, has been employed at the Ijams & Son automobile garage for nearly two years and has proven as one efficient and dependable machinist, while personally he is very popular with his associates. Mr. Larison is also a Farmer City boy and one of whom his native city is proud. Of late he has been teaching the Wisegarver school, eight miles southwest of the city, and making his home in that vicinity with his mother, Mrs. Bert Harvel. Their brides are representative young ladies of their home community, highly favored in all the graces of person, mind and heart and quite popular in this city, where they are well known.
On their return Mr. and Mrs. McMurphy will establish a home in property in the southwest part of town and Mr. and Mrs. Larison will occupy a house on the Mrs. Reeser land, part of which Mr. Larison will farm the coming season, though he will conduct his school until the end of the current term.
