I am trying to establish my roots by tracing my family back through the years. I am in the main interested in tracing back my family name. But I seem to have hit a brick wall right from the start. I have managed to go back a little way on my mothers side with a little help from my Niece.

Lack of info. seems to be the problem and going onto various sites I have been unable to confirm info I already have.
ie: according to sites my Father never exsisted. So you see I can not get info from veiwing his birth certificate or anything.
Anyone out there that can help me get off the ground your help would be apreicated.
