52. Door County Expositer, Aug. 1878, Mrs. T. Trueblood, of Little Harbor, had a stroke of appoplexy some two weeks since, causing paralysis of the right side and loss of speech. Dr. Mullen was called last week, to see the lady, and says her chances for recovery are very doubtful, as she is so far removed from medical aid. Mrs. Trueblood, whose illness we speak of in another column, died on Sunday night. She leaves a family of little children, and a husband, to mourn her death.

Door County Advocate- Obituary, 9 July 1914, George Trueblood, a pioneer of Delta county, passed away Wednesday night, June 24th, at his hime in Escanaba, Mich., after an illness of several weeks. Death was caused by a growth that developed on the back of the head, which could not be removed. Death was quite sudden and unexpected, although it was known by members of the family that he could not recover. Mr. Trueblood was 61 years of age, having been born at Nahma, and had been a resident of Delta county all his life. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Miss Essie Trueblood. The funeral took place from the family residence at Pine Ridge on Saturday afternoon, June 27th, Rev. King D. Beach, pastor of the First Methodist church of Escanaba, officiating. The remains were interred at Lakeview cemetary, in that city. Mr. Trueblood had many acquaintances in the northern part of Door county, being a brother-in-law to Lyman Greenwood, and having visited here on numerouis occasions.

76. Door County Advocate- Obituary, July 3,, Dies at Kenosha- Mrs. Susan Trueblood of Escanaba died at the home of her daughter in Kenosha Sunday, it was learned here. Mrs. Trueblood, whose maiden name was Susan Greenwood, was born at Racine in 1859 and moved with her parents to Rowley's Bay in 1873. She lived in Door County many years and was well known among old settlers. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. M. J. Quinn of Kenosha, and one brother, George Greenwood, of this city. The funeral was held at Escanaba Wednesday.
