Notes for Mary C Malone: Subj: Re: Malone Families - Chicopee/Springfield Date: 12/26/2001 5:17:49 PM Eastern Standard Time From: maja5@erols.com (Jim Malone) To: Pphilb36@aol.com I am very interested in Malone genealogy. Frank Malone died in 1945. He is buried at St Michael's in Spd, near James J. My recollection is that he was a widower at his death. He served in the US Army in WW I, and worked for the City of Spd. as the supervisor of the city dump. Mary died sometime in the 60's---you mother may remember. She and Frank shared an apartment at 72 Patton St. in Spd. I used to visit them with my father. Neither had children. John J. (my grandfather) lived on Ferry St. in Spd. and I was told he was a farrier. The Malone house on Ferry St. was the only single-family house remaining on Ferry St. when the area was torn down for urban renewal in the 1960's. |
