      Issac B. Milteer, 70, of 3 Boxwood Point, Hampton, died at his home Sunday (May 4, 1969).
      A native of Nansemond County, he had made his home on the Peninsula since the end of World War I. He was a Navy veteran, and since 1930 had been self-employed.
      He attended Hampton Baptist Church, was a member of the Fellowship Class of the church, and was a past president of Hampton Lions Club.
      Survivors is his wife, Mrs. Linda Griffith Milteer; a son, Hugh Milteer of Hampton; a sister, Mrs. Rena Holland of Suffolk; and a brother, Charles E. Milteer of Norfolk.
      A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday [May 6, 1969], in the Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home by the Rev. Chester I. Brown and Dr. John H. Garver, pastor and pastor emeritus, respectively, of Hampton Baptist Church.
      Burial will be in the Parklawn Memorial Park.
      Pallbearers will be E. F. Chandler, R. W. Patrick, Henry Hutton, Willard Davis, Alton Lindsey, Thomas T. Chisman, Wallace Hicks, and Charles Smith.
      Honorary pallbearers will be members of Hampton Lions Club and the Fellowship Class of Hampton Baptist Church.

      A lifelong Hampton resident, Mrs. Milteer was a member of Hampton Baptist Church and director of the primary department from 1945 to 1965, She was also a member of Women's Missionary Union, the Barbara Wyatt Chandler Circle, the Hampton Women's Club, and the Lady lions of the Hampton Host lions Club.
      Survivors include her son, Hugh Milteer of Hampton; and three grandchildren.
      A funeral was conducted on Saturday [September 2, 1989] in the chapel of Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home by the Rev. Chester L. Brown. Burial was in Parklawn Memorial Park.

Norfolk -- Charles Everett Milteer, Sr., 84, of the 500 block of Talbot Hall Road, a retired office supervisor, died July 21, 1986, in a hospital.
Mr. Milteer, a Nansemond County native, had retired from Gulf Oil Company after 34 years. He was a deacon of The Christian Temple, United Church of Christ; and a member of Norfolk Masonic Lodge No. 1.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Hudson Milteer; a daughter, Dorothy M. Danegger of College Park, Maryland; a son, C. Everett Milteer, Jr. of Norfolk; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cox Funeral Home by the Rev. Donald L. Kirkbride. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to The Christian Temple or The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. The family will be at the residence.
