Updated July 12, 2006

I am Bruce Edward Pichoff II, M.D. from Springdale, Arkansas where I have resided the last 7 1/5 years with my lovely wife Teresa Susanne (Bassett) Pichoff. We have been married for 20 1/2 years. We were blessed with four daughters: Regina Suzanne 19 1/2, Suzanne Marie 18, Michelle Suzanne 15, and Jeanne Marie 15. Teresa and I originally grewup in Belle Chasse, LA and became childhood sweethearts and both attended Belle Chasse High School and Southeastern Louisiana University before parting our ways (her to become engaged and marry an Italian and I to move on in the ranks of acceptance into L.S.U. Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Teresa and I later rejoined in 1984 and began dating again. We were officially engaged on May 30, 1985 at our 10 year high school reunion. I enrolled as an officer in the U.S. Army on May 17,1986 and we received duty stations which included (William Beaumont Army Hospital, El Paso, Texas/Ft. I was forced to retire on April 28, 2004 because of deterioration in my cancer. I acquired a very poor prognostic form of multiplemyeloma (IgA kappa, free light chains) 4 1/5 years ago. No other memmbers of my immediate family have or had cancer except my father.
I began doing genealogical research in 1999 after I e-mailed a Mother's Day memo to who I thought was my mother or a cruel practical joke. You, see the response to my e-mail was "I don't know who in the H--- you are, but I'm sure not your mama. Please tell me who you are." signed, Dexter Pichoff. My mother's name is Doris Pichoff and both at time had e-mail addresses similar to This then began quite a few more e-mails, this time to the correct recipients and a well planned trip to see my long-lost Pichoff's from Baldwin, Louisiaina or maybe my family are the long lost from Belle Chasse.
