This is Pickett family geneagogy linage best we know, our family records were distoryed by fire durring the Civil War.Additional surnames with this family are Dangerfield late 1800's, Wilson early 1900's Virginia, Day Mid 1800's New Orleans,Metz 1800's to present in WV, Davis Early 1900's WV, Seafler Mid 1900's WV, Powell WV, Hull in 1800's WV Sir William Pickett landed in Jamestown Va. 1640 and a very weathly member of the Virginia Co. and was Knighted by Queen Elizabeth because under the letters of Marque issued by Elizabeth, he had robbed Spainish ships much gold, silver and other valuables. Graduated college in Kentucky in the early 1920's and became a prosecutor for the circut court the moved to the U.S.D.A.'s office in Washington D.C. in the mid 1920's til the late 1950's. Wilbur Pickett has record success as a U.S.Fed. Prosecutor. He moved to Chevy Chase, Maryland in the Mid 20's until the late 50's when retiring to Ormond Beach, Florida where Musa still lives. Son of Wilber Crafts Pickett Sr. Dr. Wilbur Crafts(Bill) Pickett II ???? til 1971 in Deland, Florida Wife:Nancy Children:Wilbur Crafts III(King), George Deets(Duke), (Earl) Carl Kevin(Baron) Dr.Wilbur Pickett(Bill) was born in Chevy Chase Md and became Chief Doctor of Halifax Hospitial in Daytona Beach, Fll. and was a ace car driver an won Taladaga just prior to his untimely death in a plane crash in Deland, Fl. Son of Wilber C. Pickett Sr. Leroy Wilson(Buster) Pickett, born 12/23/1930 Chevy Chase, MD. til 10/4/91 Miami, Florida Leroy(Buster) was born Chevy Chase, Md. and went to school in Wake Forrest Univerisity in S.C. in the late 1940's. Became commission in the Army as a 1st Lt. in the Korean War. In the mid to late 1950's, Buster became known as the "East Coast Pool Champ" defending his title against such greats as "Winnie Bennie" Bill Staton and other notible pool greats from Miami to Maryland. Co-Founder of the NCOA(Non Commissioned Officers Association) in the 1960's and Academy Life Insurance Company in which provides insurance for enlisted soldiers of the United State Armed Forces worldwide.
