| I am researching the family history of many surname, notably: Pichette, Fallu, Ferlatte, Lévesque, Lynch, Lapointe and on my mother's side: Hamilton, Sutherland, Spice, Campbell, Latulipe & Latreille. The first 6 come from the Western part of New Brunswick while the English surnames are Manitoba Red-River Settlers and from Woodstock On. The last two or from the surrounding farms of Montreal. I am specifically interested to find out more about my grand-mother's family roots. She was named Thérèse Ida Latulipe and is the grand-daughter of Joseph Lalande. This whole family roamed in and out of the American-Canadian border and seems to evade any researchers' effort. Also, my Great-Grandparents John Spice and Annie Campbell who were farmers in Woodstock On. No trace of their parents or history can be found. I am interested to communicate with anyone who has any knowledge about these families. Please contact me if you would like to know more about my own family. Regards and best wishes, (Vous pouvez m'écrire en français si vous le voulez). Jean Pichette |
