This is a collection of information that I, with the help of many people, have gathered over the last 20 years. Hopefully, it will be of some use to researchers. You are welcome to use the gedcoms without charge. It would be appreciated, by all, if you shared you information us, so that we can keep a current and correct database for the future family.

For more information please go to:
http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.com/~pickensarchive/index.html

Information see here is compiled from various sources: Day, Sharp, Attensil, Pickens, Hair, Hawkins, Gillespie, Carter, Skipworth, Tanner and a good many more. Without the help of even more new researches the files would not be as complete as they currently are. As is true with All Genealogical files, there will be changes from time to time. Hopefully with your help this database will continue to grow. If you have a gedcom file feel free to post it to me so that I might add it to the current files. Thanks in advance.

The database is approximately 60, 700 files and includes families such as Calhoun, Davis, Montgomery and Smith.

Please do not try and down load the dB it is too large. Instead, contact me about specific individuals or families
