On August 19, 2000, we had a small reunion on the Desjardins name. Present were five genealogist who work together on the Desjardins name. Five of the 12 children of Joseph and Apolline (Beaulieu) Desjardins were represented. September 2000 - David Desjardins, one of the five genealogist has traveled to Laval University in Canada and other parts of Canada to hopefully learn where Joseph Roy dit Desjardins dit Gardner was born and when, who his parents were and if he had any siblings. We have hit a wall as far as Joseph is concerned. We have researched Maine Archives, State Library, LDS Library, Church records in various Maine towns & parts of Canada, and searched through the census' in Maine and some in Canada.
