My name is Patrick M.Pichichero Sr. I am researching my family name, PICHICHERO. The Pichichero's came from the Southern part of Italy called Bari. Their towns were primarily Acquaviva delle fonti, and Cassano delle murge.
My father Carlo Pichichero was born in Acquaviva delle fonti in 1887. He came to the United States in 1906 and remained in the New York area, a suburb of East New York Brooklyn.
My research has enabled me to locate many Pichichero's throughout Italy, Canada, Argentina, and the United States.
Since 1995 in my research I have amassed an abundance of data that will identify many Pichichero families.To date the names retrieved have been identified and linked through marriages that has taken our Pichichero name as far back as 1765.
The rewards reaped through my initial start of researching enabled me to meet many families that have become direct relations.
