I am interested in anyone with the surname Pickslay whose family was based in Sheffield or Lincoln, Yorkshire, England in the 1700s or 1800s and before. In particular I am trying to establish the identity of the father of Richard Pickslay, born in 1739 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. His wife, mother of Richard, was named Mary Watson.
I'm also interested in any other descendants of Richard Pickslay of Lincoln, particularly those who don't currently appear in my family tree.
