Currently I am researching the LAMPMANN surname and their descendants as well as compiling information on my other ancestral lines.
Please visit the report section for a complete list of LAMPMANN ancestors and descendants as well as the other surnames I am researching:

BJORNSEN, BROAKMEYER, HULEK, KNIERIM, MEIER/MEYER, NAHALKA and many more.

My paternal ancestors being researched by my uncle are:
AYRES, CAULFIELD, DUFFY, JENNER, LARKIN and many more.

My GG-grandparents, HEINRICH/DETTRICK CHRISTIAN "CONRAD" LAMPMANN and "CAROLINE" SOPHIE MARGARETHE ROHLFING/ROLFENK/ROLFING were both born in Schluesselburg, Westphalem, Germany. They were married 28 May 1860 in Germany and had 7 daughters.

Conrad and Caroline Lampmann brought 5 of their daughters to the US on the ship "Rhein". They arrived in NY on 19 June 1885 from Bremen and Southampton. Their oldest child, Sophie, immigrated to the US in 1881 and their third born child, Marie, immigrated to US in 1884. The Lampmann Family and 6 children traveled west and settled in SD, Aurora County. They staked a claim in 1887, Gales Township, Aurora County, SD. My G-grandmother, Marie, was the only child to remain in the east and settled in NJ, Hudson and Bergen County.

Both Conrad and Caroline Lampmann are buried in Crystal Lake Cemetery, White Lake, Aurora County, SD. Conrad Lampmann died 04 January 1890 and Caroline died 27 January 1927.
