The Pierce and Middleton Home Page

The following is a list of surnames that I have been researching:Pierce, Holt, Tilley, Middleton, Wright, Eslicks.The pierces and eslicks traveled together as a clan, for the most part. Most of the info i have on them is when they where in taney county, missouri. alot of them moved to polk county , iowa in 1849. But my line Thomas and frankie, came back within a few years. i do go back to tenn, thomas g. pierce born ca1791, died 1836-1840 in tany county missouri. married rebecca steele born ca1794 in tenn and died 9-20-1865 in iowa. i follow this line to myself. also have a book about this line of the pierces and eslicks. contains some pictures. If any one can help me find info on the ancestors of thomas g. pierce, or rebecca steele, please tell me...
My Middleton line has came to a stop at my GG Grandfather, henry middleton born around 1846 in tenn, he married margeret jane holt. around 1870 i think. found them living in searcy county arkansas most of their lives. Dont know where and when they died either. I think henrys parents where john thomas middleton born ca 1818 married to nacy tilley. found these people in wayne county, tenn in the census records. family story goes that the whole family left tenn in a big hurry, such a hurry that the father(john thomas) and a few others stayed behind to find one of the kids that was off playing. They say john thomas never went to arkansas and i never have found him on any census records there. but i did find him still in tenn and married to another woman??? as you can see this line has giving myself and others alot of trouble. Please help!!
