"Grandma Akerley"lived to be 97 years old,and she smoked a pipe!Here she's with her grandson,George Elmer[1876-1950],his daughter,Mabel,whose mother,Estella Goodrich,died just a few months after Mabel was born in 1897,at 20 years of age],and her son,Theodore Eugene[1854-1931].When walking near the trolley tracks,in Clarks Summit,a car went out of control and hit him.He died from those injuries in 1931.George Elmer Tripp was killed,along with his second wife,Mae Featherly Johnson,in 1950 in a car accident.
